LDS Choristers: FREE Color Your Own Flipcharts for 2015 LDS Primary Songs

As a new LDS Primary chorister, I find it extremely helpful to use flipcharts for the songs we are learning.

There are so many great options out there, but I couldn’t find any that were exactly what I wanted. Color copies are expensive so I wanted something I could print in black and white and then color myself (or ask my daughter to color).  I also wanted specific pictures to help non-readers to remember the words. I drew the pictures I felt would be most helpful and included all of the lyrics to help the older children and teachers.

I believe that music is so important in helping our little ones to develop a love of the Savior. These songs are filled with the Spirit and teach truth.  If we can help our children to memorize them and take them to heart, they will remember the messages long after they graduate from Primary.

I am happy to share these for free with you, in the hopes that someone else will find them useful.

You can download the Color Your Own flipcharts for the 2015 LDS Primary theme songs for free here:

I Know that My Savior Loves Me

He Sent His Son

Follow the Prophet (volume 1: Adam, Enoch, Noah, Moses)

Follow the Prophet (Volume 2: Abraham, Samuel, Jonah, Daniel, Joseph Smith, Nephi, Thomas S. Monson, Last Verse: “Now we have a world…”)

The Church of Jesus Christ

The Holy Ghost

Come Follow Me

I will be making more of these because I find them so helpful.  If you have any requests please let me know and I’ll add them to my list.

  1. I love these, thank you so much for sharing. Do you have one for I Wonder When He Comes Again. We are learning this song for the month of February since we already know He Sent His Son.

  2. Those are so awesome!! I am definitely using the Follow the Prophet, since I will be assigning each class a verse to learn, and what a perfect way to make it even more personalized by letting them color their verse! Do you have any more verses to the song? I know there are tons out there in cyber land, but I was planning on just sticking to the verses from the Children's Songbook. πŸ™‚

    1. Dirr I just saw you said that you will take requests and add to your list. πŸ™‚ — Follow the Prophet verse about President Monson that was published in the Friend by the original composer — The 4th Article of Faith — The Miracle — Come, Follow Me verse 6 — πŸ™‚

    2. Maybe something like this for Come Follow Me? — "Come follow me (footprints) the Savior said (Savior) then let us (us) in His footsteps tread (footprints), for thus alone can we be one (us hugging the Savior) with God's own loved Begotten Son (Savior)"

  3. Is it possible for you to do the two verses of Follow the Prophet–the ones from the Friend for Joseph Smith & President Monson? If you need the words I can leave them as a comment if that makes it easier. BTW. ..these are AWESOME.

    1. I'll add I Know That My Redeemer Lives soon. For now I've decided to focus only on songs from the Hymn book or Children's Songbook, so I won't be doing The Miracle. Thank you for understanding!

  4. Thank you so much! by far the best flip charts I've come across yet! And coming from someone who is not artistically inclined these are so helpful!

  5. Could you do a flip chart for "All thing bright and beautiful"? I can't find much for that song and it is one of my favorites!

  6. Oh, my goodness, I have looked everywhere for something exactly like this. So many ideas out there, but this is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you soooo much!

  7. these are fantastic! I love your style! Many thanks! I've been trying to think of ideas for "I'll follow him in faith" – do you have any suggestions? or have you thought about doing a flip chart for it?

  8. Thank you so much! I don't have a color printer, and most flipcharts I've found are done in color, so these are a lifesaver. Many thanks!

  9. You are amazing!! This has saved me lots of $ in color printing and tons of time creating this. I just got called as primary music leader and I'm scrambling before the primary program. Thank you!
