I love scattering inspiring words around our home. We’ve got scripture references on bulletin boards, the front of the fridge and taped up in closets and cupboards. Coloring this page would be a perfect activity for a quiet Sunday afternoon and then you can hang it up as a reminder to look for those in need and help them. I need the reminder to look around my own home and neighborhood for people in need of service.
Not only does this look great as a coloring page, but I used the quarter-page sheet to add and image transfer to my art journal. I’ve never done an image transfer before, but decided to give it a try this morning and it worked perfectly. It turned out so well that I’m certain I’ll be using this technique extremely often. As I pulled the paper off and saw how well the ink had stuck to the packing tape I was giddy. (It’s so silly, I know!) Here’s a great tutorial, if you want to try this out yourself.
