Coloring pages that go along with the February 2019 lessons of the Come Follow Me LDS curriculum. These seven coloring pages come directly from the King James New Testament. They are hand-lettered and perfect for helping your family to memorize scriptures or to add to your scripture journal.
I was recently released from my calling as the Primary music leader after five years of service in that position. I loved serving there, teaching music to the children in our congregation. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to all the kids I’ve been singing with for so many years, I was also excited for new challenges.
I am now serving as the second counselor in the Young Women’s presidency, so I’m working with the 11-13 year old girls. One of the side benefits of this calling is that now I get to attend sunday school classes for the first time in about 17 years.
I’ve always been an avid scripture study fan, and now I get to go and hear insights from other people during class. It’s been very uplifting for me. I’ve been bringing my spiral bound New Testament to class and adding notes and journaling during class as we discuss the lessons.
This has been such a great way for me to study! And one of my favorite things is to add art and doodles in the margins. It really helps me to cement what I’m learning in my mind.
I’m excited to share the next installment in my New Testament coloring pages series with you today! This month I have created seven coloring pages, featuring the following scriptures:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect.”
“God is faithful” 1 Corinthians 1:9
“They forsook all and followed Him.”
“This is my beloved son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy god with all they heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
“Ye are the Light of the World”
I also created a half-sheet version of each of the coloring pages, so I can add them into my scriptures as a tip-in. I love how they look! I usually tape the in with washi tape on one side and then use the back as a place for additional journaling. You can download either the full-sheet size or half-sheet size below.
I would love to see how you use these coloring pages! Snap a photo and tag me on Instagram!
