Happy Monday friends!
My family and I returned yesterday from a beautiful trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. It’s such an incredible area, and I’m glad we were able to visit. I could definitely see us going back there again!
You may have noticed that the format of this Sketchnotes post is a little different than normal. In an effort to consolidate and streamline a bit, and allow me to have more time for other blog posts and business ideas that have been put on the back burner, I will be doing just one Sketchnotes post each month (rather than weekly).
What will that change for you? Not a whole lot, probably.
Don’t worry! You will still get one full page of sketchnotes for each Come Follow Me lesson!
You’ll still be able to get your free sketchnotes here each week. But instead of having separate posts for each week, I’ll include them all in one bigger post each month.Â
So check here again next week for an updated blog post with the next set of sketchnotes.
A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into creating each and every blog post, so this change will help me cut out a lot of redundant work. And that will make it possible for me to create more awesome, useful content for you!

Thursday:Â Read 1 John 5:2-3 + watch I Stand All Amazed
Friday:Â Read Jude 1:3-4
How to use Scripture Sketchnotes:
Â
COLORING PAGE. Use as a coloring page for your kids to work on during family scripture time. Write additional notes and insights on the pages as you go. You could add all the completed sketchnotes pages to a binder to keep as a reminder of the gospel topics you’ve discussed together.
STICKER PAPER. Print on clear sticker paper and cut apart the doodles to add to your scripture journal or into the margins of your scriptures. (This year, I am using this free wide-margin New Testament PDF that I had printed and spiral bound at a local copy shop. But there are many wide-margin options available.)

I just wanted Heidi to know that your sketch notes added so much to my scripture study this year, and I’m hoping that you continue on with doing this for the BOM also. Your creativity has inspired me to try something new without being totally on my own for it. Thank you so much again, and may you be extra blessed for sharing this talent with many people.
That makes me so happy! And yes, I’m planning to do sketchnotes for the Book of Mormon as well. I’m really excited about it!
