Use these Book of Mormon Sketchnotes as you study the Come Follow Me lessons for individuals and families for September 2020! The printable doodles add so much to your scripture study, family discussions and scripture journaling.
Happy almost-September, friends! I’m delighted to share another month of Book of Mormon sketchnotes and a simple family study plan with you.
I do have a quick favor to ask you. If you’ve been using my sketchnotes this year will you take a moment to share with me HOW you use them? Drop a comment below, or even better: show me on Instagram. I’d love to see these doodles in action, in your scriptures or in your kiddos hands as coloring pages.
On to the Sketchnotes!

I have set this up again as a Pay What You Can option. I am so incredibly grateful for and humbled by your support. You have the option to donate as much or as little as you would like (even $0).
Included in the kit this month are four sketchnotes pages (one for every lesson in September) as well as a printable reading calendar.
All the files for the month will be delivered to your email address in a zip folder. Most likely you will not be able to open this on your phone. Please open it on a computer or other device that can open zip files and print from there.
HOW TO USE BOOK OF MORMON sKETCHNOTES:
TRACE. You can also trace these into your scriptures or journal using a light box or a sunny window. My husband made me an awesome lightbox, but this one is a great option for you to purchase.
COLORING PAGE. Use as a coloring page for your kids to work on during family scripture time. Write additional notes and insights on the pages as you go. You could add all the completed sketchnotes pages to a binder to keep as a reminder of the gospel topics you’ve discussed together.
STICKER PAPER. Print on clear sticker paper and cut apart the doodles to add to your scripture journal or into the margins of your scriptures. (This year I am usinga wide-margin study edition of the Book of Mormon from Line Upon Line. Our family is using their Journaling Edition for our study together as well. But there are so many wide-margin options available! Deseret Book has several great options and you can print this free PDF and have it bound at a local copy shop.)
Printing on clear sticker paper allows you to add color to the doodles using colored pencils, but still be able to see the words beneath them. I have tried out a few different kinds of colored pencils on this sticker paper. Ergosoft pencils and Prismacolor pencils work really well.

I love these!
Thank you!
I started using your sketchnotes last year sometime and got really behind at the beginning of this year.
I love printing them on clear sticker paper and putting them in the journal copy of my scriptures. I find that the images help me remember the scriptures much better because I’m a visual person, and I really enjoy ponderizing as I color and stick everything down.
