Hot Off The Press: A Peek at the Faith in God Study Guide
Our very own copies (plus a couple dozen extra) of my new LDS Faith in God study guides arrived in the mail today. Despite all the proofreading, editing, re-proofreading, editing, and re-re-proofreading, I was terrified that they would be full of huge, glaring errors once I had a physical copy in hand. I am happy to say that was not the case! At least, we haven’t found one so far…
I am so pleased with how they turned out! Ellie dove right in as soon as we opened the box; that’s a good sign, I believe.
I wanted to share a sneak peek of the journal with you so you can get an idea of how you and your child could use them. Here are a few features:
Table of Contents
The journal includes a page for every required activity in the Faith in God book.
Many different drawing and coloring pages.
Pages to help children learn to interpret scriptures.
Writing and drawing about gospel topics helps children (and adults!) better understand what they are studying.
A variety of journaling methods are used throughout the journal.
Pages for journaling non-required activities {adorable little boy not included}.
Memorization pages for the Articles of Faith.
Journals are available at Createspace:
and Amazon:
You can also download a digital copy in my Etsy shop. The digital version can be printed as many times as you would like for personal, family and classroom use. Please only share printed copies, though. Don’t pass on the digital version.

How fun. What a good idea. May have to pick one up! We just finished passing off all the square knot requirements for scouting in Kaden's book. I was just thinking that I need a system to help him memorize the articles of faith.
Way to go. That's great.
Thank you! It was a fun/challenging project! Ellie is loving hers. 🙂
These are amazing! And what a great way to teach Primary children to use journals when studying the gospel. Love it!
