December Daily 2017

I participated in December Daily for the first time this year. For those who don’t know, it’s a fun memory keeping challenge, where you keep track of a memory or two per day from December 1-25.  It’s a great way to capture the most magical time of the year.

If I’m going to do anything these days, it’s got to be simple. So my pages are nothing fancy.  They are sweet and filled with memories and very simple.

Supplies I used:

8.5×11″ 3 Ring Scrapbook
White Cardstock
These free tags for the dates
Evergreen tree stickers and Journal cards from my shop
This paper pack for backgrounds

A couple of notes: 1) I decided to go with 25 Moments, rather than strictly telling one story per day.  It made things much simpler for me. 2) I started out with only black and white photos and then somehow forgot that was the plan and started printing them in color about halfway through.  Oh well. I’m still happy with how the pages turned out.  3) It’s hard to take a photo of something in a protective sleeve. So if the photos in my scrapbook look blurry or weird, that’s why.  🙂

I did this in 2-3 sittings, quickly working through a stack of photos each time. I tried to get a good balance between each of the kids, my husband and me, but I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more photos of the younger two kiddos than anyone else. (Can you blame me?)

I plan to add to this binder each year so we can look through and see how everyone has grown and changed each Christmas. Such a fun and meaningful project and I’m so happy I did it!

Now, some simple scrapbooking inspiration for you:
