Say what you will about Valentine’s Day being a Hallmark holiday, but I love it.  We don’t do expensive gifts, but I always look forward to any day that I can go a little bit out of my way to show my family and friends that I adore them.

These sweet little color-your-own valentines would be a great addition to any Valentine’s Day celebration.  You can give them away with a couple of crayons (or these DIY crayons) so the recipient can color them, or you can let your kid(s) go to town coloring them in and attach a sweet little treat (stickers, pencils, balloons and erasers are all excellent little non-candy gifts).

The animals included are: a bee, a lion, a giraffe, and elephant and an owl. I’ve also included a blank Valentine, so your little one can share their original artwork with someone special.
