Printable New Testament Paper Dolls/ Journaling printables

Hello friends! I am excited to share a new set of scripture printables with you today! TheseNew Testament Paper Dolls include several figures and would be perfect to use with the Come Follow Me lesson for March 4-10 “Thy Faith Hath Made The Whole”.

While these illustrations were based around the above lesson, you could use these figures for many, many stories from the New Testament. I have found that my little ones learn best when their hands are busy. These paper dolls are a perfect way to help keep your kids’ attention during family scripture study or family home evening.


I recently realized a new use for these watercolor illustrations: bible journaling! Print them on sticker paper and add them to your scriptures. They look so beautiful!

Figures included in this set:

• Jesus Christ
• Man: could be John the Baptist, or another disciple of Christ
• Woman: could be Mary, or Peter’s mother-in-law, or the widow who gave her last mite, etc.
• Man with leprosy/bandages
• Two boys
• Blind Man
• Centurion
• Girl
• Woman kneeling: could be woman with an issue of blood.

Supplies to make paper dolls:

Print play set (Download below)

Scissors

Laminator, if desired

Popsicle sticks, if desired

Velcro or pieces of flannel, if desired

How to make paper doll play set:

Print out the paper dolls and background.

Cut out the figures.

Laminate, if desired. This step is optional, but will help the play set last longer.

You could attach the popsicle sticks as a handle onto the puppets, but we like them better without.

You could also use velcro or a piece of flannel glued to the back of the puppets to use them on a flannel board, if desired.

 

New Testament journaling figures:
These figures would also be beautiful in your scripture journal or journaling New Testament. I printed a set on sticker paper and added them to my bible.  I LOVE how they turned out!

STICKER PAPER. Print on clear sticker paper and cut apart the doodles to add to your scripture journal or into the margins of your scriptures.  (This year, I am using this free wide-margin New Testament PDF that I had printed and spiral bound at a local copy shop.  But there are many wide-margin options available.)  Also, make sure your buy the type of sticker paper that is appropriate for your specific printer.
