I am delighted to share a new coloring page with you today.  Just in time for Easter, the inspiration from this page comes from the beautiful story of Christ’s resurrection in Matthew 28. The two Marys travel to Jesus’ tomb and when they arrive they are met by an angel who said to the two women,

“Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.  He is not here, for he is risen”

Those last three words are among my favorite in all of scripture.  He is Risen.

And because He has risen, that means we will rise again as well.  His Atonement covers our sins and his Resurrection breaks the bonds of death.  A beautiful promise of hope and renewal.

I hope this coloring page will add to your celebration of His miraculous resurrection during this Easter season.
