Wow! We ask for prayers and see results overnight! We got word today that we have been selected as Cutie’s foster-only family! This means that we get to take care of him long term while the mess with his family is sorted out, but this is different than fostering with the intent to adopt or “Legal Risk”. We are hoping to get to that status, but even once we are there that does not mean he’ll be with us forever. While the road ahead is still very long and difficult, we’ve made a step in the right direction.

I am glad that you can keep him, while they figure things out. I truly hope things work out for you after that. Keep praying, things will work out as they are meant. We went through 14 months waiting to officially adopt Brooklynn. If you ever need to talk let me know. He sure is a cutie!
